Mrs. Dinah Woods Kelly, 73, passed on January 1, 2024 at the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House.
Born October 18, 1950 in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late James Lagree and Lonnie Mae Woods Parrish.
Educated in the public schools of Rowan County, she was a 1969 graduate of J. C. Price High School. She was last employed as a retail associate with Dillard's and Wal-Mart.
Mrs. Kelly was a member of Hall's Chapel Primitive Baptist Church and a member of the Missionary.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Carlton Kelly; brother, Richard Donaldson; sisters, Dorothy Donaldson and Ella Woods.
Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Charles P. Kelly, III of Columbia, SC; son, Dwayne Lamont Kelly of Columbia, SC; brother, Lawrence Edward Woods of Salisbury; sisters, Leytanyer W. Reddick of the home, Hilda Woods Bost (Harvey) of Concord, and Sandra "Kay" Grier (Rick) of East Spencer; grandson, Carlton E. Kelly, Jr. "CJ"; and a host of brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
