Mrs. Frances Amick
Last rites for Mrs. Frances Amick, 92, who died yesterday morning at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Elmer Blevins of Mahan, will be held at the family cemetery at Comfort, at the mouth of Joe's Creek, tomorrow afternoon at two o'clock.
The body was removed to the Mulligan and White funeral home at Montgomery, from where it will be removed to the home of a son, J.W. Amick of Comfort.
She is survived by four sons, J.W. Amick, of Comfort, S.B. Amick, Levi Amick and John Amick of Pickshin; five daughters, Mrs. Mary Darlings of Mahan, Mrs. Alice Neff of Naylon, Mrs. Miles Stokes of Red Star, Mrs. Joseph Atkinson of Lego and Mrs. Virginia Crotty of Pickshin, 58 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren.
Married James Amick 3-10-1867in Nicholas County, WV. Recorded as Fannie Amick on her death certificate and date of birth is recorded as May 20, 1844.
