Daughter of Solomon Thomas Bradley [83] and Sarah Bradley (nee Terry).

Emily was born in Goldstone, Ash, and baptised on the 10th September 1835, at St Nicholas Church, Ash, Kent.

She married John Appleton [13007], on the 26th September 1855, at St Nicholas Church, Ash, and they had a daughter

She then remarried to James Beerling [13077], on the 19th November 1859, at St Nicholas Church, Ash, and they had some children

James was a bachelor, son of Isaac Beerling, both labourers, Emily was a widow, daughter of Solomon Bradley, a publican, they married after banns, both signed X, and their wedding was witnessed by Elizabeth Bradley and Thomas Eiden Bayley Bradley (marriage certificate on FMP).

He was a labourer, and died in 1904, and was buried at Ash, Kent.

1911 census Emily (mother in law, 74), was living at 27 Paradise Row, Sandwich, with Herbert Bishop (39, born Deal, married), and Ellen Bishop (39, born Ash, married).

She was living at 11, St Peter's Street, Sandwich, when she died aged 80 years, she was buried on the 26th February 1913, at St Nicholas Churchyard, Ash. The Rev. F.R. Michell officiated her funeral.
