Daughter of Peter Ellis 1837 – 1899 and Felicitus Johnson 1844 – 1937. Fanny was born on August 8, 1883. On April 1, 1903, she married Wilfred Reece, in Parish Church, St. Paul's, Crewe, Cheshire, England. They arrived in Canada in 1910, first settling in Peterborough, Ontario, however, due to the harsh winters, they moved west to Vancouver, where they raised two daughters, Fanny and Evaline Mary, and a son, William Victor.
