While raising 6 children, Dorothy who was an accomplished seamstress made clothing for her children and later for clients. She got her real estate license later in life and learned to china paint pieces that were beautiful and treasured by her children and grandchildren. She loved to watch sports on tv as well as watching her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren play all kinds of sports.
She is survived by her daughters, Bonnie Blaylock (Wally), Charlotte Danielson and Mary Legus and son Michael Menalis: grandchildren Rich Giddings, Andy Blaylock, Megan Tisdale, Jay Harty, Michael Menalis Jr, Sarah Menalis, Mathew Menalis, Emma Menalis, Nichole Olsen and Scott Legus; great-grandchildren Ian, Dalton and Kenna Giddings, Karge Olsen, Tate and Lily Larson and Mason and Rickie Menalis.
Preceded in death by her husband, Edward Jr, her sons Edward III, and Gregory.
Dorothy appreciated her caregivers at Ebenezer Ridges Care Center where she enjoyed playing cards and Bingo.
