Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Halas attended the funeral services for his aunt, Mrs. Ida Salus Halas, widow of Alexander Halas, at the E. O. Curry Funeral Home in Peekskill on Saturday who died Tuesday, January 20 in St. Francis Hospital after an illness of six weeks. Mrs. Halas was born in Hungary more than 70 years ago and had resided here most of her life. She was a member of the Hungarian Reformed Church. Mr. and Mrs. Halas were former residents of Stanford on the Jameson Hill Road, residing where, Clement Hancock now lives. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ida Kepenach, of Peekskill; two sons, Lewis Halas, of Florida and Alexander Halas of Poughkeepsie.
