Marie Rose Gamble, 71, of Renfrew, formerly of Natrona Heights, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018, in the comfort of her home. Born March 3, 1947, in Natrona Heights, she was the daughter of the late Stephen Litvik and Helen Ruffner Litvik. Marie retired from Allegheny Valley Hospital, where she had served as a registration clerk for 21 years. Marie always enjoyed raising and riding horses and had owned many over her lifetime. While living in Natrona Heights, she owned and operated a doll shop where she constructed and sold dolls from her home. Above all, Marie loved being with her family and that love extended to her cats, Joy and Hope. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 53 years, Morgan L. Gamble Sr., whom she married Jan. 26,1965; her children, Terrie Goda and her husband, Joe, of Baden, Morgan L. Gamble Jr. and his wife, Joanna, of Butler, and Joseph Gamble and his wife, Lisa, of Estill Springs, Tenn.; her grandchildren, Levi Gray, Noah Gray, Yolanda Lovegrove, Ed Darby and Justin Darby; her great-grandchildren, Carmela Gray, Cooper Gray, Leroy Lovegrove and Anna Darby; her sisters, Kitty Petrak, of Lower Burrell, and Linda Scriven and her husband, Mike, of Natrona Heights; and one niece and three nephews. In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by an infant brother.
In accordance with Marie's wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral services. Her arrangements have been entrusted to the BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTER OF CONNOQUENESSING TOWNSHIP, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053.
