Mrs. S. Bronson departed this life on the afternoon of Sept. 4, 1897, at her home near Fayette, Lafayette County, Wisconsin, aged 82 years and 28 days. Harriet Styles was born in the town of Caldwell County of Warren, New York, Aug. 7, 1815, and was married to Samuel Bronson in 1834.
She was the mother of twelve children, nine of whom survive her. She supported the doctrines of the Congregational church all her life. For her charity she was well known throughout her life and died a good mother and wise counselor.
