I, J. Wathen, manager of this memorial, am the great-grandniece of Irene Mabel (Magers) McClintock. Her sister, Ella Bertha (Magers) Roberts is my great-grandmother.

Mrs. Irene McClintock

HOLTON - Mrs. Irene McClintock, 78, Holton, died Monday, Sept. 8, at a Holton hospital.

She was born Dec. 3, 1907, at Platte, Mo., the daughter of Isaac and Lucinia Daugherty Magers. She moved to Kansas in 1908. She spent most of her life in the Holton community.

She was married to Theodore McClintock Sept. 20, 1924, at Mayetta. He died Nov. 17, 1985.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Maxine E. Metzger, Topeka, and Mrs. Barbara A. Wrosch, Holton; three sons, Ted McClintock and Gordon McClintock, both of Holton, and Joe McClintock, Topeka; a sister, Mrs. Ella Roberts, Wichita; a brother, Sam Magers, Kent, Wash.; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will be in Mayetta Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jackson County Nursing Home at Holton and sent in care of Kansas State Bank at Holton, 66438.
