Served as Lt. in Col Bull's Regiment during Rev. War.
Died at his Mulberry Grove Plantation on Black Swamp near Robertville, St. Peter's Parish, Beaufort District to which he had moved in about 1775. He was a Justice of the Peace and a Revolutionary War officer.
