CHARLES ORR
Charles Orr, retired Pennsylvania Railroad conductor, died at 3:50 Sunday morning in his home at 353 Alderman Ave. where he had been ill for the past month. He was 71.
A son of Charles and Margaret Gould Orr, he was born Nov. 12, 1877 on Brookfield Slope and lived his entire life in this community where he had many friends by whom he was held in high regard. He was a member of the First Methodist Church in this city and belonged to the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen. He was retired eight years ago.
He leaves his wife, the former Margaret Growley, whom he married 48 years ago; a daughter, Mabel, wife of Homer Shotts, Sharon; a son, Russell Orr, at home; a brother, James Orr, Canton, O.; two granddaughters and one great-granddaughter.

ORR SERVICES
Funeral service for Charles Orr of 353 Alderman Ave. was conducted at 2:30 p.m. yesterday in the McCartney Funeral Home by Rev. Ralph E. Tidmarsh, pastor of the Oakland Avenue Methodist Church. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mr. Orr, a retired Pennsylvania Railroad conductor, died Sunday morning, June 26, at his home. He was 71.
Pallbearers were Arthur and Charles Orr, Paul Blair, Frank Mayberry Jr., Sterling Gantz and Harold Growley.
