MRS. MATTIE SWADLING
RED CREEK—Mrs. Mattie
Swadling, 78, of Red Creek died
May 9 in Myers Community Hospital,
following a short illness.
She was born at Walworth,
daughter of the late Norman and
Harriet Fosdick, and had lived
for many_years near Red Creek
and Fair Haven.
Her husband, Oliver, died in
1965. Mrs. Swadling attended the
Red Creek Methodist Church.
Surviving are three daughters,
Mrs. Cecil (Ruth) Hillegeer of
Union Hill, Mrs. Ralph (Alice)
Goodelle of Weedsport and Mrs.
Dwight (Doris) Standbrook of
Red Creek; a son, Wendell of
Rochester; a brother, Ernest Fosdick
of Walworth; six grandchildren;
one great-grandchild and
several nieces and nephews.
The service will be Friday at
2 p.m. in the Becker Funeral
Home, with burial in Union Hill
Cemetery.
