Husband of Melinda (Belair), whom he married on Jan. 1, 1889 at Notre Dame Church in Malone, New York. Father of thirteen children: Milford N., Wesley Joseph, Eva M. (Yando) Blair, Ethelie, Stella Mary (Yando) Frasier, Mabel, Loretta Mabel (Yando) Tatro, Lawrence H., Viola (Yando) Supernault, Lottie Mae (Yando) Bisonette, Mildred M. (Yando) Capron, Beulah M. (Yando) Dumont, and Lila.

Noah was employed as a teamster before moving his family to Worcester, Massachusetts for a time, where he worked as a machinist in a railroad shop. They then returned to Malone, New York, where he worked as a boiler maker and, later, as a blacksmith at an aluminum plant. He and his family resided in Malone and Massena until they moved to Watertown, New York. In his later years he was a doorman at the Liberty Theatre in Watertown.
