HOLLIDAYSBURG – Mrs. Elmira Abt, of Lakemont, died on Saturday from the effects of a stroke of apoplexy. The deceased was the wife of John Abt and was aged 47 years, 11 months and 14 days. She is survived by her husband and two children – Mary and Albert. The funeral service will be held in St. Mary's church this morning at 9 o'clock. Interment will be made in St. Mary's cemetery.
