BLOOMINGTON - Catherine Louise Wright, 79, of 1223 Eastport, No.B, Bloomington, formerly of Springfield and Florida, will be at 11 a.m. at Metzler -Frolic Memorial Home, Bloomington. The Rev. Warren K. Lukens will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Springfield. Visitation will be one hour before the service.
She died at 7:01 p.m. Monday (March 12, 2001) at her home.
Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army or to a charity of the donor's choice.
Mrs. Wright was born Aug. 28, 1921, in Farmer City, the daughter of John William and Gertrude Sparrow Lukens. She married Herman Polser. He died later. She married Thomas Weld Wright. He died in January 1991.
Survivors include two brothers, Richard H. (Jean) Lukens and Max Luke (Marilyn) Lukens, Urbana.
Her parents, six brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
She enjoyed traveling with her husband, Tom and brothers.
