Sarah Robey Hunt was born Maryland, Sep 15, 1770, a daughter of Thomas Robey and Ann Boswell. She married Mishach Hunt in 1787, in Charles County, Maryland. The first two of their children were born in Charles County, and then they moved west to Locust Creek, Fleming County, Kentucky after 1800. In about 1816, the consolidated families moved to Sullivan County, Indiana.
They were the parents of ten children, Anna (who married Robert Gilkerson), Martha (who married Elijah Story), Mary (who married William E. Eaton), John Robey (who married Hannah Davidson), Sarah (who married Capt. Charles H. Eaton), Permilia Ann, Judson, Dory, Elizabeth, and Nancy Jane Ann.
