Funeral services were held today [Friday] at 10 A.M. in St Dominic's R.C. Church, Oyster Bay, for Peter Waters, retired grocery merchant, who died of pneumonia Wednesday in his Oyster Bay home after a short illness.
Mr Waters was 82 and lived at 58 Summit street. He was a former resident of Cold Spring Harbor. He came to this country from Ireland when a lad of eight. He was in the grocery business until his retirement 17 years ago.
He is survived by two sons, Edward and Peter; also three daughters, Mrs James Finnegan, Mrs Frank O'Neil and Miss Alice Waters, all of Oyster Bay.
The Rev Charles Canivan, rector of the church, officiated. Burial followed in St Patrick's Cemetery at Brookville
