The youngest son of Exum and Susan Guyer was born 1 Feb 1844 and departed this life 31 Jul 1919 aged 75y 6m.

He was married to Louisa A Woods 26 Feb 1865, who proceeded him in death.

To this union were born 7 children, those surviving being Mattie E Cannaday, Clifford, George and Maggie Ormiston.

Those preceding him in death were Letticia, Ira F and Anna C Nichols.

He leaves to mourn their loss, 2 sisters, Sarah A Conrad of Hutsonville, IL and Matilda Spivey of West York, IL 2 sons, 2 daughters, 23 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren besides a host of relatives and friends.

He professed faith in Christ in early life, united with the Cumberland Presbyterian church and later in life united with the Hutsonville Baptist church and remained a faithful member till death.

Funeral services were held at the home of his son, George and were conducted by Rev. T O Bailiff after which the remains were laid to rest in the Guyer Cemetery
