Rebecca "Becky" Hatcher Helton, 81, passed away on June 15, 2022 in Arlington, Texas surrounded by her family. Becky was a devoted mother, daughter, sister and friend who loved to laugh and would instantly brighten any room that she entered. Rebecca was born in Huntsville, Alabama on May 7, 1941 to John F. Hatcher and Cecil Roberson Hatcher. She married Richard D. Helton in Huntsville, Alabama on September 18, 1965. In her younger years, Becky spent time working for NASA in Huntsville, AL where she liked to joke that she "told them when to launch the rockets". After moving to Texas, Becky's full-time (and best-loved) job was raising her children. She would always beam with pride anytime she talked about them. As they grew up, she went to work at Junior Achievement in Dallas. After a number of years living and working in both Alabama and Texas, the Heltons settled down in Arizona where they lived for 23 years. They returned to Texas three years ago first living in McKinney but most recently residing in Arlington. Becky loved playing games and is no doubt playing Skip-Bo or Mexican Train with her friends up in Heaven.
