Mr Gahan was employed as a salesman by the Aslesens corporation, Minneapolis, retiring in 1975. He was born in Tomahawk and attedned schools here. He was graduated from Closier college, Onamia, Minn.
He was married to the former Catherine Knar Jan 27, 1934 in Waukon, Iowa.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs Kathleen Thompson; two sisters, Mrs Collette Shorey and Mrs Genevieve Reich; and five grandchildren.
Services wher held in Immaculate church, Eau Claire, with burial in Calvary cemetery, Eau Claire. Prock funeral home, Eau Claire, was in charge of arrangements.
