On Saturday, May 12, in her home at 2439 Lloyd Street, Mrs. Wilhelmine Ehlert (née Meissner)an old pioneer in the City of Milwaukee died at the age of 70 years.

The deceased was born in Mühlberg, Germany in the year 1847, and came to America as an 11 year old girl with her parents. The first settled on a farm in the Town of Milwaukee. The family later moved into Milwaukee, where the deceased was married to Frank A. Ehlert in 1868. Her husband preceded her in death 5 years ago. The marriage produced 6 children, of whom Alexander died in July 1908. He still has 3 daughters:

Mrs. Frances Liebscher, Clara, Minnie M. Ehlert, and Frank W., John H., also 7 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. The burial will take place on Monday, May 14, at 2:00 in the afternoon from the undertaker parlors of Chas. Gerber & Son, 1302 Chestnut Street, from there to Forest Home Chapel, by automobile.

Ehlert, as of Saturday, May 12 at 3:45 in the morning, at the age of 70 years, 2 months, and 5 days, now rests in peace, at her home, 2439 Lloyd Street.

The burial will take place at 2:00 Monday afternoon May 14 from the undertaker parlors of Chas. Gerber & Son, 1392 Chestnut Street, from there to Forest Home Chapel, by automobile.
