Pat wrote her own obituary with the life that she lived. Pat loved her family, her many friends, her church family, and most of all her Lord. She kept the faith that she would win the battle over cancer; she truly did when she slowly slipped away from our arms Tuesday, March 25, 2008 in Shreveport, LA., and into the arms of her Lord wearing a sweet smile on her face.
Pat was born, an only child, in Winnfield, LA. October 9, 1951 to Clyde Wallace and Thelma Jones Bilyeu.
Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Anderson; father C.W. Bilyeu; her grandparents Marion and Selma Jones; and J.P. and Delores Bilyeu.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving mother, Thelma Bilyeu, Uncles Marshall Jones and wife Helen, Woody Bilyeu and wife Mary, J.P. Bilyeu Jr. and wife Myrtis; Aunts Sue Lowe and husband Milam, and Margie Franks; numerous step-children, which she loved as her own, numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Pallbearers will be James Milam Lowe, John David Jones, Jody Thigpen, Jimmy Mercer, Allen Hight, and Jonathan White.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society
