Mrs. Addie Garrett, died at the home of Commissioner J.T. Blalock at Tait's Gap, aged about 68 years. This good christian lady was a sister to Mrs. Blalock, with whom she made her home, had been an invalid for some time but the immediate cause of her death was a stroke of paralysis. The remains were laid to rest in Liberty cemetery, November 12th, Rev. S.C. Allgood conducting the funeral services.
