Patsy graduated from San Jon High School and immediately married the love of her life Charlie.� She held the office of San Juan County Assessor in the late 70's.� From there she went on to manage Caribou Oil Co.�
A true Christian, she started her spiritual walk at the First Methodist Church in Farmington.� She later transferred to the First Methodist Church in Bloomfield, NM, where she came to be a layman pastor.� She taught a quilting class there called "Many Mini Temples."� All of her quilts were embroidered "God guides the hands of Patsy."� She was such a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.� She was a funny woman who loved to laugh.
Patsy is survived by her wonderful husband, Charlie Hedgecock; her daughter,�Carla and son-in-law, Mike Martin; her grandson, Casey Martin and granddaughter, Jade Martin; great granddaughter, Aubra Kay Martin; her sisters, Phyllis Tillman and C.K. Terry; her sisters-in-law�,Donna Kay Jackson and Caroline Liles and all of the extended family whom she loved very much.�
She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Russell.
She was so special, we love her and we will miss her.� She will live in our hearts forever.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 16, 2008, at First Baptist Church, San Jon, NM. Burial will follow at San Jon Cemetery.
