My grandmother actually got his birth date wrong on the gravestone.

He was born 20 Feb 1878 on Via Livornese street in Staffoli, Santa Croce sull'Arno, Firenze (aka Florence, now under the administration of Pisa), Toscana (Tuscany), Italy to Baldassare Pasquinelli (1841-) and his first wife Maria Rosa Ersilla Deg'l Innocenti Giandini (1846-1878).

He arrived 30 Nov 1906 aboard the Konigin Luise in Port NY, NY, age 28 born 1878 in Staffoli, final destination S. Clara, California with 12 dollars in his pocket. Farm laborer, able to read and write.

His wife Maria (Mary) came to join him on 31 Jan 1911 aboard the Duca Di Genova, 25 dollars in her possession, 5' 11" tall, natural complexion. She identifies her surname as Passarelli, in other records written as Passarella (though it was actually Posarelli). My grandmother also got her birthdate wrong on the gravestone, it is actually 6 Aug 1881 and she was born in Santa Maria a Monte, Firenze (aka Florence, now under the administration of Pisa), Toscana (Tuscany), Italy. Father Raffello Posarelli of Staffoli, Santa Croce sull'Arno, Firenze, Toscana, Italy, going to join her husband Attilio Pasquinelli in Santa Clara, California. Their first child, a daughter, was born 12 Jan 1912, Lola Evelyn Pasquinelli (my grandmother).

Children:

Lola (1912-1993)

Irene Louise (1913-1987)

Raffaelo (aka Ralph) Joseph (1916-1969)

Arthur (Attilio) Peter Pasquinelli (1921-1983)

By 1920 he was owner, Gardener, in the Truck farm industry and rented a home.

In 1930 he was a farmer, living on a farm, working on his own account and owned his home at 812 North 17th Street in San Jose, with his wife and five children and one of their spouses.

In 1940 he was a Farmer, owned his farm, and working on his own account at 812 N 7th Street.

In 1950 he was widowed, and still lived at 812 N 17th Street, but unable to work, age 72.
