Death of Charles Canfield
Charles Canfield, a lifelong resident of Livonia, died Saturday at the home of his son, Elmer, in Woodbury, N. J. Death was the result of a stroke, about two weeks previous. Mr. Canfield was 80 years old.
Last fall Mr. and Mrs. Canfield went to New Jersey to make their home with their son. Mrs. Canfield died in December.
Surviving Mr. Canfield is the son, one sister, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon and was attended by three of the grandchildren, Claude Marshall of Honeoye Falls, Leo Marshall of Bald Hill and Velma of Rochester.
