Esteemed Lakeville Farmer
Orvis Canfield, a substantial farmer and highly respected citizen of Livonia, died at his home one mile east of Lakeville Thursday, at the age of 79 years. Mr. Canfield got his start in life as a grain thrasher and separator, in the early forties. He was a humoirst by nature, full of life, and was always welcome. He leaves a widow and three children, Charles, engineer at the salt mining shaft in Livonia, Roswell, an extensive farmer in South Dakota, and Elizabeth, Mrs. Black of Geneseo.
