Abigail was born in Martlesham about 1680, daughter to William Carlo[e]of Bredfield by his second wife Abigail Parker. She married John Bradstreet of Capel St. Mary on 22nd December 1697 at St. Margaret's Church, Ipswich. Abigail and John had 5 known children and several unknown, who died in infancy. (see grave inscription above.) In Abigail's Will, proven in 1762, she leaves everything to her son Joseph (my 5 x g.grandfather) and he then moved to Charsfield. Abigail is undoubtedly buried together with her husband John at the Bradstreet family tomb above which also houses the bodies of 4 unknown daughters and sons who probably died in infancy.
