Hilda Argyle Dallin, 88, passed away October 30, 2001 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born Dec. 10, 1912 in Woods Cross, Utah to Lois Coltrin and Robert Argyle. She married Dean Edwin Dallin on Feb. 21, 1935 in Bountiful, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.

Hilda graduated from University of Utah with a two year teaching certificate.

She was the director of the LDS Hospital Nursery School for over 20 years. She enjoyed doing temple work and attended regularly for many years. She was a loyal Jazz fan. Hilda made beautiful appliqued quilts, crocheted, and embroidered. She raised flowers and loved roses. She enjoyed and loved being with her family. She was compassionate to all those she encountered.

She is survived by her son, Dean Edwin Dallin, Jr., Taluca Lake, CA; daughter, Ileen (Lloyd) Lister, West Valley; daughter, LaRae (Craige) Baker, Chubbuck, ID; son, Stephen Cal (Patti) Dallin, Mora, MN; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Ira (Alice) Argyle, Holladay, UT; brother, Cal Argyle, Woods Cross, UT; sister, Marian (Lynn) Lowe, Albuquerque, NM. Preceded in death by her husband, parents, 11 brothers and sisters and a grandson, Brent D. Lister.

Funeral Services will be held on Sat., Nov. 3, 2001 at 10 a.m. at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 S. Highland Dr., where Friends may call on Fri. from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to Services on Sat. Interment at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
