Rosetta was born on August 7, 1945, in Beaumont, Texas, to the late Virginia Haynes and Babe Willie "BW" Williams, Sr.

She attended Charlton Pollard High School and was a drill team member. She married Jesse Vera Antoine at the age of 21 and moved to Los Angeles, California.  Although they divorced in 1985, two daughters, Allegra and Shalonda Antoine were born from that union.

Rosetta was a very strong, resourceful, and hardworking woman that wore many hats.  She was a mother, cosmetologist, seamstress, certified nurse assistant/caregiver and an amazing cook.  She was a tidy little "Ms. fix-it" and prided herself on keeping a clean house with everything in its place.

She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Church of Jesus Christ in Los Angeles as a member of the nurse's guild.  Living beside the church for many years, she served as the church's main cook and regularly did the hair for numerous church members.

Known for her cooking, she was Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles before they became popular.  Of course, the holidays were massive with a spread consisting of ham, turkey, macaroni and cheese, candied yams, greens, cabbage, potato salad, mash potatoes, cornbread dressing topped with pineapple upside down cake, peach cobbler, banana pudding, sweet potato pies and pecan pies…ALL FROM SCRATCH and only for eight people!!! It was standard to be sent home with a to-go plate and a few pies.

Rosetta was a very feisty woman known for doing things on her terms and sayings like "Well, I'll say!" or "No shit!" as well as quickly turning her head and giving you "the look".

She enjoyed being a grandmother and was a stickler for manners.  She loved needlework (knitting and crocheting), playing games, watching boxing, puzzles and tending to her garden. She enjoyed playing her music and could be seen singing and dancing throughout the house.

Rosetta was preceded in death by her daughter: Allegra Antoine and four brothers (Bobby "Junior Boy" Williams; Edward C. Williams, Sr.; Donald J. Williams, Sr. and Ralph C. Williams Sr).

Rosetta is survived by her daughter: Shalonda Antoine of Los Angeles, California; twin sister, Johnetta Bledsaw of Los Angeles, California; brother, Terry Williams (Delores) of Beaumont, Texas; grandson, Dominique Hunter of Spring, Texas; granddaughter, Allriyana Hunter of Houston, Texas; and a host of beloved family and friends.
