Barbara "Max" Schneider Oalmann born in Hamburg, Germany on February 14, 1953. She was the daughter of Horst Schneider and Vera Lydia Born Schneider.


She is survived by her loving husband Ralph E Oalmann of 27 years, adoring sister Sandra Christel Schneider Burr (husband Robert), stepdaughter's Teresa Coleman (husband Jeff), Donna Nimmo (husband Carl), and stepson Eddie Oalmann. Oma to Meagan, Taylor, and Preston Nimmo, Nicholas and Matthew Coates, and great Oma to Anaya Coates. Proud aunt to Miranda Audibert and Paul Burr. Max was a wonderful and loving friend to many.


During her life, she was an executive secretary at Tidewater Marine and owner of PHD hair salon in Mandeville. Max contributed to many charitable organizations with time, energy, and always wanted to help others. She enjoyed playing golf, gardening, bee keeping, and playing cards with several different groups. Her quick wit and snappy retorts to any situation are legendary. Max will be greatly missed by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
