Born in Lachine, Quebec, Brent moved to BC in the 90s to be closer to the ocean. The water called him from a young age and he was most at peace when he was sailing and fishing.

Cherished son of Harry Martell and the late Jean Falconer Martell and special brother to Janet Flaherty (David). Leaving behind his nephew, Liam, who was the light of his life. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Brent will be laid to rest at a private family gathering at Mount Royal Cemetery (Montreal, Quebec).
