Margarita Zapien Valenzuela, age 86, of Hemet, CA, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 16, 2014, at her residence. Margarita was born on February 4, 1928, in Nevada.
She was the daughter of the late Guadalupe Zapien and the late Marialuz (Arroyo) Zapien. She was an inventory clerk with American Linen for 25 years. Some of the things she enjoyed to do was cooking, making puzzles, and sewing. She was preceded in death by her siblings Emma Casillas and Antonio Zapien.
She is survived by her children Raymundo Zapien Gamez, Tony & Patricia Gamez, Martha Garcia, Carmen Hernandez, Alicia Zapien, siblings Consuelo Garcia, Francisco Zapien, Socorro Mahe, Theresa Contreras, 13 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
