Amelia B. Hildebrand, 73, died suddenly Sunday, Nov. 28, 1982 at the Converse County Memorial Hospital in Douglas. Amelia was born Oct. 4, 1909 in Springfield, Illinois, the daughter of Conrad and Wilhelmina Ulm Numrich. As a young girl she moved west to Wyoming to homestead on the flats north of Orpha with her parents. She was married to Robert C. Hildebrand on Oct. 15, 1925 in Douglas. They ranched, farmed and raised their family near Careyhurst, moving into Douglas in 1949. She is survived by her two sons, Fred and Lee both of Casper, Wyoming; one daughter, Marie Robertson of Casper, Wyoming; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert, in 1974; one son, Richard, in 1969; three brothers and one sister.
