YOUNG MAN MEETS DEATH IN ACCIDENT

William (Conrad) Numrich, aged 18 years, was almost instantly killed at the Carey ranch at Careyhurst last week. He had been hauling hides to the warehouse there when he slipped and fell, frightening the horses so that they ran away. His body was caught in one of the wheels and so bruised that death had occurred before a rescue could be effected.

The funeral was held from the Douglas Methodist Church on Friday afternoon, Rev. H. E. Shepherd conducting the services. A quartet consisting of Mrs. Chas. E. Clark, Miss Mary Blaine, W. H. Davis and N. V. Swanson sang. Burial was in Douglas cemetery.

William (Conrad) Numrich was the son of Mrs. and Mrs. Conrad Numrich and was born in Adrian, Pa., August 21, 1902. He came to Wyoming with his parents about three years ago. He is survived by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
