Theodore B. Platt, Jr., age 76, of Okeechobee, died, Monday, May 26, 2003, at his residence. Born and raised in Miami, Mr. Platt had been a resident of Okeechobee for eight years. He was a retired Chief Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the VFW, American Legion and Okeechobee Country Club.
Survivors include: his beloved wife of seven years, Margaret Platt of Okeechobee; son, Nathan Platt of Burknett, Texas; four stepdaughters, Sue Hatcher and Jackie Jurnigan of Wichita Falls, Texas, Marlene Meadows of Arlington, Texas and Patricia Petcoff of New Orleans; and his mother, Myrtle Friesner of Okeechobee, also survives him.
There will be no visitation or services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice of Okeechobee, P.O. Box 1548, Okeechobee, Fl. 34973.
All arrangements are under the direction and care of the Buxton Funeral Home and Crematory.
