Marilyn Lee, 79, died May 17, 2008 at Palm Garden of Vero Beach.
She was born in Augusta, ME, to Charles and Marian E. Jones Jukins and moved to Vero Beach eight years ago, coming from Westbrook, ME.
She was a member of Prides Corner United Church of Christ, where she sang in the choir.
She was a group leader of Campfire Girls; member of Westbrook Republicans; Ladies of Kiwanis; and the Prides Corner Garden Club.
She attended Westbrook Junior College and graduated from Gates School of Business in Augusta.
She worked for the Maine Turnpike Authority in their fare collection and purchasing departments in Portland, ME.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Edwin C. Lee of Vero Beach; son, Jeffrey R. Lee of Durham, ME; daughter, Deborah Perry of Sidney, ME; brother, Bruce P. Trott of Eliot, ME; and six grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association of Florida, 2107 N Australia Ave., West Palm Beach, FL 33407.
SERVICES: Final services will be at Plummer Funeral Home in Augusta. A service of Christian Burial will be at 2 p.m. May 24 at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Augusta. A memorial service will be in June in Augusta.
