Died, at his home in Lowell, Sept. 29th, Mr. James McFarland aged 83 years. Deceased had lived the greater part of his life in this neighborhood and had by hard labor, good management and economy accumulated considerable property. He was well known and universally respected. The remains were taken to Good Hope on Friday and laid to rest in the cemetery in that place.
