Mrs. William Hinton died at her home four miles southwest of Stockville last Friday morning after an illness of several months.
The funeral services were held at the M. E. Church in Stockville, Rev. J. E. Craig having charge. Internment was made in the Stockville cemetery.
Mr. and Mrs. Hinton came to Frontier county in 1884 and have resided here continuously since. To them where born fifteen children all of which are living except for one son. All of the children but three daughters were present at the funeral and one of the three daughters arrived Monday of this week.
Mr. and Mrs. Hinton are well known all over this county and their many dear and sincere friends will mourn with her relatives the death of a good friend and neighbor. Mrs. Hinton was converted when sixteen years old and united with the Church of God. After coming to Frontier county she joined the United Brethren church.
Sophia M. Manges was born in Pennsylvania, April 28, 1839. Was married to William Hinton September 14, 1854. They moved to Frontier county in 1884. Died Friday, July 14, 1905, aged 66 years, 2 months, and 17 days.
