Mrs. Ole (Ingeborg) Broten, 87, died July 8 in Fargo, where she had made her home for the past three years with a son.
The funeral was in St. Olaf Lutheran Church, Walum, July 10, the burial in the church cemetery.
Ingeborg Norderhaug was born October 17, 1883, at Martell, Wisconsin, and was married in Wisconsin to Louis Brekke. After his death, she and her two daughters remained in Wisconsin until March 16, 1913, when she married Ole G. Broten in Moorhead. They settled in the Walum area, where they farmed. He died in 1925.
She leaves three sons, Garfield of Valley City, Olaf of Dazey and Vernon of Fargo; 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; one brother, Henry Norderhaug, Martell, Wisconsin; and one sister, Mrs. Agnes Garlie Nampa, Idaho.
Preceding her in death were two daughters, Mrs. William B. (Hilda) Nelson and Mrs. C. F. (Inga) Benson; one grandchild and five brothers and sisters.
