Daughter of Joseph Clark & Louisa Miller.

First Husband was John Paul Jones of CT., John died abt. 1865 in the Civil War, we believe his death was at Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Almira was a nurse or a cook in the Civil War.

Only child is Oren Sherman Jones.

DIED

LOWELL. On Saturday, June 18th, Mrs. Almira Lowell, aged 38 years, wife of K. C. Lowell, of this town.

"Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord"
The funeral services were held in the Court House on Monday, conducted by Rev. Wm. Preston, and were largely attended by the friends and relatives of the deceased.

Mr. K. C. Lowell, who has lived among our people for a number of years past, left for his old home in Maine last week. Mr. L. is a worthy and industrious citizen, and we regret his departure.
