Mae Ardeel was born in Hillsboro, Oregon. She passed away from cancer at age 66. She worked for Nabisco in the 1950's and in the flight kitchen for United Airlines for 12 years before retiring in about 1990. In the late 1950's, she married Maynard Anderson. Maynard preceded her in death in 1994.
Survivors include her sons: Greg Barendrick of Portland and Gary Barendrick of West Linn, Oregon; stepson - Roger of Portland; stepdaughter - Doris Bunce of Vancouver, Washington; brother - Henry Ardeel of Drain, Oregon; sisters - Mary Rothlisberger and Margaret Rothlisberger, both of Hillsboro and Alice Kramer of Portland; and stepsisters - Ann Zarling and June Leitgeb, both of Portland. Entombment was in Crescent Grove Cemetery in Tigard, Oregon.
