CASCADE - Becky Sue (Standley) Olsen, 49, of Cascade, died of liver failure Saturday at a local hospital.
A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Cascade United Methodist Church in Cascade, Cremation has taken place under the direction of Croxford Funeral Home and Crematory. Her ashes will be buried next to her parents' in Hillside Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband of Cascade; 5 sisters; a special niece; 2 stepsons; and a granddaughter. Becky is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and her dogs, Karma and Muttley, and feline friends.

Becky died March 1, 2008, surrounded by her sisters and husband. She was born April 7, 1958, in Great Falls, Mont., to Lester and Bertha Standley. On Sept. 5, 1999, she married in Cascade, Montana. They resided at the Standley family farm where they raised cattle and hay. Becky completed her life in the home of her childhood. She attended Cascade Public Schools and graduated from Cascade High School in 1976. She maintained close relationships with many of her classmates and enjoyed their frequent reunions. She began working at the Great Falls Clinic in September 1976, and continued working there until her death. Her many friends include co-workers from the clinic.

Becky was an active member of the Cascade United Methodist Church, serving as a Sunday school teacher, on several committees, and as organist and pianist. Becky also accompanied community soloists when needed. She was a member of Cascade Chapter #101, OES, and served as Worthy Matron in 1991-92 and held other offices.

Becky is remembered for her love of animals and the farm, her strong work ethic, her loyalty to family and friends, and her care for her aging parents. She enjoyed needlework, reading, crossword puzzles, creating family videos, gifts and calendars. Becky also enjoyed attempting to continue the tradition of "Bertha's Doughnuts". She enjoyed attending Cascade High School athletic and musical events, stock car races and family gatherings.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Bertha; brothers-in-law Don Schuchard and Mike Webster; her father-in-law, Ray Olsen; and a nephew, Kirby Albright.
