Inez Sherer, 69, St. Charles, IL, formerly of Marshall, died at 7:29 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, 1988 at her home.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Pearce Funeral Home in Marshall. Burial will be in the Marshall Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
She was born May 5, 1918 in Louisville, KY to Owen and Adeline Knox McGee. She married Victor L. Sherer on May 25, 1940 in Paris. He died on August 28, 1983.
She was a 1936 graduate of Marshall High School and a 1939 graduate of St. Anthony's School of Nursing in Terre Haute. She was a member of the Illinois Nursing Association, District 2. She retired as an industrial nurse for the Globe Batter Division of Johnson Controls in Geneva, Ill.
She is survived by: two daughters, Martha A. Bray and Lynne Sherer, both of St. Charles, IL; one brother, William McGee of Layton, Utah; three nieces and one nephew.
