LA PORTE -- Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Haverstock Funeral Home for Mrs. Bertha Leets, 88, of 1121 - 1st St., who died at 2:30 a.m. Monday in Community Hospital. Rev. Victor P. Frohne, of St. Paul's United Church of Christ will officiate and burial will be in the Wanatah Cemetery. Mrs. Leets was born Nov. 3, 1877, in Wanatah. Her husband, Paul, is deceased. Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Harvey Keeler, South Bend, and Mrs. S. M. Broadus, Monroe, Mich.; a brother, Fred Kosanke, Hebron; one granddaughter and four great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. Paul's Church, of the Orient chapter of the Order of Eastern Star, and of Circle No. 1, of the church.
