Annie Louise ahd her twin brother, Lloyd Leslie, were born into a family of seven boys. Lloyd Leslie lived a little over a year, passing away on January 20, 1918. He is buried in Kirk Cemetery, Limestone Co., TX (Kirk, TX is where Louise grew up) with her parents Will and Carrie Burdette Curry. She graduated from Sam Houston State Teachers College on Monday, August 22, 1938. She was teaching in Glover, TX when she met Fletcher who was also teaching there. They married on July 4, 1943 in Waco, TX at the home of Louise's brother, Ray Curry. She and Fletcher have two sons: Robert and John.

Louise was a lovely,happy person. One could not be in her presence without sharing her laughter.

She shares the marker in Chireno with her husband, Fletcher.

In keeping her special wish a marker was placed in the Kirk Cemetery, Limestone Co., TX to provide information for future genealogists. It states:
