WEAVERVILLE - Mrs. Maggie Maney, 91, of Rt. 1, Weaverville, died Wednesday night after a long illness.
She was the window of L.D. Maney and a member of Browns Chapel Baptist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Floyd Shepherd and Mrs. Burnette Dillingham of Weaverville and Mrs. Betty C. Dillingham of Barnardsville; three sons, Robert T. of Swannanoa, Joe of Arden and Buron Maney of Weaverville; two brothers, R.S. and Alvin Bradley of Weaverville; 37 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
West Funeral Home of Weaverville is in Charge of arrangements.

Services for Mrs. Maggie Maney, 91, of Rt.1, Weaverville, who died Wednesday in her home, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Brown’s Chapel Baptist Church.
The Rev. Shelba Beaver, the Rev. George Bradley and the Rev. J.H. Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Maney Cemetery. Grandsons will be pall bearers.
The body will be at the home until taken to the church to lie in state one hour prior to the service. West Funeral Home of Weaverville is in charge of arrangements.
