Rozella had a very lovely voice and would always sing to her four daughters. She was often asked to participate in the LDS church choir. People who knew Rosie would always say to her that she would do well to sing professionally. Rozella was cherished and loved dearly by her children.

Rozella was a member of the "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints".

Rozella was blessed with 16 grandchildren.
