Christiana was born in Brombach (Nassau), Saxony, Germany to unknown parents. First husband: Unknown Moos. They had at least three children: Joh. Friedr. Theodor Moos; Dorothea Henriett. Wilh. Moos (died as an infant); and Joh. Phillip Moos (died at age 7). She was widowed and on Jan. 1, 1850, she married her second husband Johann Samuel Gottfried Kaempfe. They had at least five children: Wilhelm Ludwig Kaempfe, Johann Gottfried Kaempfe, Marie Magdalene Hofstetter, Christine Elisabethe Kaempfe, and Still Born Kaempfe.
Her second husband Samuel Kaempfe is believed to buried in the open space next to their son Wilhelm. Following notes were made in a site inspection of the cemetery:
"In a visit to the Kleinschmidt Cemetery in 2003, a headstone reads Julianne Drewes, 21 Jun 1851, 18 Mar 1880. To the left of her headstone is an open gravesite with no stone. To the left of that open site is a headstone for Wilhelm L. Kaempfe, 18 Mar 1851, 30 Jan 1878. Then to the left of that stone is Christiana (unreadable) Samuel G. Kempfe, "Geboren Mueller" 21 March 1819, 3 Feb 1875. Since Samuel Kaempfe died in 1879, it's very possible that he is buried in the open gravesite with no stone. His second wife Christiana (Mueller) died in 1875, his son Wilhelm then died in 1878, then he died in 1879, and finally, Julianne (Hofstetter) Kaempfe/Drewes died in 1880. They were buried consecutively. Having been married less than a year, Juliana's second husband likely would have buried her next to her first husband, but if that open site was occupied, he could only put her in nearby. It makes sense that Samuel is here."
