Early Day Resident of Big WALL Area Dies in Washington

Funeral services for Myrtle E. WALL, early day resident of the Big WALL community northeast of Roundup, will be held at the Roberts funeral home at 2:00 o'clock Friday afternoon with Rev. C. F. Crowe of the Methodist church officiating. Buriel will be in the City Cemetery. Myrtle E. WALL, daughter of Albert and Anna Sandburg WALL, was born May 26, 1901, at Genoa, Neb. Her father came to Montana in 1912 and homesteaded in the Big WALL vicinity. He brought his family to the homestead in 1913. He passed away in 1924. Myrtle lived with her mother on the ranch until about 17 years ago when they moved to Washington. Miss WALL passed away at Fort Steilacoom, Wash., on July 2, after a prolonged illness. She is survived by her mother; three sisters, Mrs. Mable BAKER of Fairfield, Mont., Mrs Alice WILLIAMS of Olympia, Wash., and Mrs. Eunice KALB, of Agnew, Calif.; four brothers, David of Roundup, Arthur of Morovia, Ia., Albert of Yelm, Wash., and Arnold of Yakima, Wash.
